Auditing

All operations users or service accounts perform are audited for collaboration and compliance.

Review audits

1. From the Header Bar Menu, go to Admin panel.
2. On the left-hand side navigation, select Audit Logs.

Explore audits

You can view, search, and filter all audit events per resource, operation or user.

Data access audits

By default, Lenses audits whenever a dataset is viewed (either through the UI or an SQL query). In order to avoid taking too much space in the DB, Lenses will only keep the most recent 500.000 entries of this type, periodically cleaning up the ones in eccess. Please refer to the advanced configuration settings for details on how to tweak this mechanism or disable it alltogether.

Compliance

For compliance with regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA you can push audit event into your centralized SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) such as Splunk or LogMetrics.
